Berkley Owls |
|
Andrew Charlton of Berkley
Owls has been rescuing owls for many years. They have recently moved to more
secure premises and have built new accommodation for their birds. they can be
booked to visit clubs, schools, shows and events bringing the owls to the
public.
With over 50 owls currently
in their care, Berkley Owls travel the country with a wide variety of owls
including a Snowy Owl, Eagle Owl, Barn Owls, Tawny Owls, and Little Owl. All the
owls used in displays for educational purposes have been well handled to ensure
that the owls remain calm and free of stress with the public interaction. This
also enables people to stroke the owls, to take photographs of them and to
admire these stunning birds close at hand

Blackwell Concert Band |
|
The band was formed
at the beginning of 1998, when Blackwell Brass Band dissolved, due to a shortage
of brass players. The decision to allow woodwind into the band was made in that
year, and since then the band has gone from being a small group of players to
its current strength of 25 players
They
play a very wide range of music, catering for as many musical tastes as
possible. It is hoped that this way there will be something of interest for
everyone who plays in the band. We have in the repertoire marches, jazz,
calypso, blues, pop, rock, film scores and more. |

Celestine
Dog Training
|
|
Welcome to Celestine Dog
Training. To tell you a little about ourselves we are Julian and Lorraine
Bartram and we have been involved in dog training and competitive agility since
1994.
We have seven of our own
dogs, most of which are rescues. Three are retired from competition and four are
still competing. We are very much committed to reward based training, not
because we believe that the poor little doggies shouldn't be negatively
reinforced but because we have found that rewards generally achieve faster
results. All activities are covered by insurance.

Dr Busker |
| Dr. Busker is, without doubt, one of
the most unique musicians of his time. In his top-hat and tails, squeezebox in hand, he
represents a bygone age when fizzy lager and the motor-car were unheard of. Steam engines
ruled the road, Real Ale ruled the inns, and Britannia ruled the waves. |

Revolting Peasants |
|
The Revolting Peasants
first started as a band comprised of a guitar player, drummer, accordionist and
a weird bloke who did party tricks ! Well, that's all we could think of
describing him as !
This group enjoyed varied
success around Northamptonshire and surrounding counties until the inevitable
happened. The group separated to pursue individual interests. However, this was
not the last to be heard of them.

Wyre
Forest Animal Trust |
Wyre Forest Animal Trust is solely run by volunteers in the Wyre
Forest area. Our purpose is to aid low income pet owners to have
their animals neutered, this way unwanted kittens and puppies do
not become the next generation of animal cruelty statistics.
We also take in 'unwanted' pets and place them in foster homes
until a permanent home can be found for them. For the foster
carers, we cover the cost of food and any veterinary bills. Wyre
Forest Animal Trust are also carers for rescued hedgehogs and
other small wildlife in the local area. If you find a hedgehog
or other small wildlife in trouble and need advice or help,
please contact us. |
